Why do people bag Lady Gaga?

I'm not into that type of music but she seems Ok to me. She seems to get a bit of bad press but they don't pinpoint what it is that they don't like about her.For example one of the magazines in our local paper made the comment that 'Luckly she sings in disguise,or she would probably suffer much public abuse'.Why? What is wrong with her?
