Is there another way to your ipod touch?

I kinda sorta became angry with my ipod. And I didn't realize what I was doing and I slammed my ipod on my granite counter top. The screen became cracked in many places and then the screen was white. Is it an internal problem or and external problem like its just the screen. My computer still recognizes the ipod. And I can't restore it because I have a pword on it and the screen is white -_- so I can't do nothing. Is there a way I can restore it from a website or something? And No. I can not take it to apple. Anyways ideas? Please!
