Lever action on red ryder bb gun is broke.?

I push it all the way forward and back and the usual seven clicks are absent. After I bring the lever back and pull the trigger nothing happens. I accidentally used the arrowhead type bbs instead of the round ones and i beleive a piece of the bb got jammed somewhere. My question is "How do i fix this without sending it back to the company?"
