My period came early, could I be pregnant or is it something else?

I've been on the Nuva Ring for about a year and my periods have always been like clockwork. I am scheduled to take the ring out on Tuesday and I normally get my period on Thursday or Friday. Well today (Saturday) I started my period. I am ually active so I'm wondering if I could be pregnant or could it be something else? Any ideas?
